3 months old already!

3 months old...where did the time go?  I know everyone says to enjoy it; it goes too fast-and they are right!  We are so enjoying every mintue of Mia-but holy cow-does it go fast!  Not only was Easter Sunday Mia's 3 month bday, it also means that mommy only has ONE MORE WEEK of maternity leave!  Oh well-whatcha gonna do:)  Well, when I am sad, I do a photo shoot-so here are Mia's 3 month pics by Shane and I:)  In case you can't tell, she is happy, smiley girl!  We are SO lucky:)
Here are some facts about Mia at 3 months-
*weighs about 12 pounds (no dr. visit-so we are guesstimating:)
*Eats every 3 to 4 hours at moms
*Sleeps through the night-sometimes waking up for a 3 am feeding, but then goes right back to sleep
*a MORNING girl-so awake and happy in the morning
*loves to be outside and go on walks
*still wearing 0 to 3 month clothing
*loves to chew on her hands and play with her toys
*reading books is her FAVORITE thing to do

After finding all of our Easter goodies, we got all dressed up for church.  Of course, one of the many joys of having little girls is SUPER CUTE Easter dresses:)  Here we are all ready for a morning at church-

After a fun Saturday at Larry and Dawn's, we woke up Easter morning to find that the Easter Bunny had paid a visit to Mia's:)  Mia had a great Easter morning with her Easter basket, mommy, daddy, Grandma Toni and Aunt Tobi!  We even had to hunt to find the big kid's baskets-right Tobi:)  Mia had a great first Easter morning!

On Saturday, we headed down to Red Bud in the afternoon to celebrate Easter.  We had lots of yummy food and even played a ping pong tourney-which my goofy husband somehow managed to win:)  Mia got to spend lots of time with her family and there were many Easter basket surprises too!  What a great day:)

Easter Egg dying....and a tornado siren!

On Good Friday, my mom and sister, Tobi, came to spend Easter weekend with us.  We got out the eggs to dye and had a great time.  Mia loved looking at the eggs and helping us write on them...until the tornado sirens started going off!  We spent an hour in our basement, watching the storm coverage on tv.  Luckily, we had no damage, but if you have seen the pictures of the airport on television, many in the St. Louis area did not fare so well.

Splish Splash...

For a little lady that hated baths at first, Mia loves, loves, loves bathtime now:)  She loves to play with mommy and daddy while getting ready for her bath!

As I have less than two weeks left of maternity leave left, I find myself taking lots of pictures.  I truly cannot believe she is already 12 weeks old and that I have to go back to work soon.  I know that I am so lucky to have had so much time with her-but it does not make going back any easier!

Okay, so I did move the burp rag after I took these, but I was trying to capture the way Miss Mia sleeps-with her cute little hands behind her head:)  Every time I have tried to get a crib pic of this, it is too dark-but I just think this is too cute:)

A visit from Grandma Toni:)

My mom had two personal days left she needed to use up before the end of the school year, so last weekend she came down to visit and play with Miss Mia:)  We went for a walk, played lots and even went to get a pedi (not Mia, though; she stayed with Daddy).  It was a great time!
