Mia turns 6 months!!!!

Our little peanut is 6 months old ALREADY! We love her so much and are so lucky to have Mia! She is so much fun-and we can hardly believe half a year has passed since she arrived.

Here are some pics and fun facts about Mia:

*weighs 13 pounds 4 ounces

*is 24 1/2 inches tall

*in the 25th percentile for both

*has her bottom two teeth

*She eats rice cereal and veggies and likes to try some of mommy and daddys' food

*Sleeps pretty great at night

*rolls over both ways

*Sits up pretty well on her own

*makes lots of cute little noises

*loves to read books, be outside and play with her mommy and daddy

Adrianne's visit to Illinois:)

Each year, our niece, Adrianne, gets to come spend some time with us in Ilinois and we always do all sorts of fun things. This year, we went to Grandma Jean's, made our first trip to the Magic house, went to Splash City-her fav!- and had an Uncle Stud and Mac'n'Cheese show. It was a great time and we will miss her a lot until we head to Texas in October:)

Meeting Great-grandma Jean

Last Sunday, Mia, Shane and I headed out on a long car ride to the Champaign, IL area to introduce Mia to my dad's mom-her Great-grandma Jean. We had such a good time and met my mom, Tobi and niece Adrianne there too! Mia did a great job in the car and had so much fun with Great-grandma Jean:)

Aunt Tobi moved into a house in Edwardsville for the next school year, so we went over to check it out...and spit up on her couch, of course:):)

Miss Mia is growing very quickly and is starting to experience come big girl things-her a sippie cup and veggies for dinner:) Her first go was with green beans, which she thought were okay, but she loves peas:) Let's hope that sticks around!

Our first night away...

In the middle of July, Shane and I took a trip to Southern Ilinois to wine country. We love going to the Shawnee Wine Trail and had not been in a while. We stayed at a loft in Alto Pass, Illinois that was amazing and had such a good time. We only wish it would have been just a little cooler outside:)

Uncle Larry and Aunt Dawn were so excited to have Mia all to themselves for two nights-but mommy and daddy sure missed her a lot!!! I have a feeling that Mia barely knew we were gone playing with Uncle Larry, Aunt Dawn and Jordan!

A trip to Tampico...

A couple of weeks ago, Mia and I decided to visit Grandma Toni in Tampico. We had a fun couple of days before we came back home to see daddy, who missed us lots:)
