Sunday Funday:)

On Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, we had a bunch of Shane's friends over for a cookout....and let's just say a lot of fun was had by everyone-especially Shane:):)  Mia had a blast playing with all of her uncles....and needless to say-there are LOTS of pictures!

On Friday night, our nephew Jordan graduted from Red Bud High School!  We are so proud of him and all he has accomplished-he had a great GPA, won TONS of awards and will be heading to MIZZOU this fall!  It was a gorgeous evening for a graduation outside-Mia was a rock star and everyone had a blast:)

YMCA 1/2 Marathon

The most wonderful running club ever held their 2nd annual 1/2 marathon on Sunday May 20.  It was a great day-a little hot-but a very successful run:)  Here are few pics and Mia was the best little cheerleader...

Happy Mother's Day!

Hope all the mother's had a great mother's day:):)  We spent the weekend before mother's day hanging out with Shane's family at a great family dinner-and then we headed up to Tampico-where we had a yummy dinner at Candlelight and then hung out!  It was a great second mother's day with my little peanut:):)

Tobi's 21st Birthday Part II:)

On Tuesday, May 8, my little sister turned 21:)   I still remember dad coming to get Tiffany and I on the playground at Tampico Elementary School to tell us we had a new baby sister...and now she is 21!  We are so proud of everything she has accomplished and cannot wait to see what life has in store for her.  I am so lucky to have her for a sister-and a best friend...

Now that I am done with the sappy stuff-on to the fun!  So..............

Shane and I went back and time and went out on a Tuesday night! 

Shane and I were the drivers for Tobi and her friends-we headed to Fast Eddies in Alton-a local place-yummy, cheap food and great atmosphere-where one must be 21 to enter-and you get a t-shirt if you spend your birthday here:) 

Then, we headed back to E-ville to where the girls could walk home b/c us old folks had to work tomorrow....and it was WAY past our bedtime...

(NOTE TO SELF-next time we are going to pretend like we are 21 again-it should NOT BE ON A TUESDAY when we have to work the rest of the week:)
