A weekend of rainy 5K's:)

This weekend, Shane and I ran two 5k runs-one in Red Bud that our nephew Jordan's High School FBLA was hosting and the Girls's on the Run in 5K in Forest Park!  Mia was a trooper-she hung out in her stroller with Larry and Dawn on Saturday while we ran and with Tobi on Sunday:)  We didn't get out the camera too much because of the rain, but here she is with her rainy day partners!

Mother's Day Weekend:)

Mother's Day weekend was a fun time in Northern Illinois~especially because we were also celebrating Tobi's birthday:)  We grilled out, hung out with Tobi's BFF Becca, went to visit Grandma Muriel and Grandpa Lorney, ate dinner at the Candlelight, and went to church!  Whew:)  It was a great weekend~and a wonderful first Mother's Day with my beautiful little lady.  I am truly a lucky mommy:)

 

Finally some SUN in the STL:)

Rain, rain go away!!!!  Finally, we got to see that ball of fire in the sky this weekend-that's right-THE SUN made an appearance:):)  After getting up early to watch the Royal Wedding (I know...but my mom watched Diana and Charles with me as a baby, so I had to continue tradition:), we took a nap, and went on a long walk.  Then, Friday night, we went to meet Uncle Shaun and Calli at Zapatas on their patio!  It was so nice out.

Then, Saturday, Shane, Mia and I went to Villa Marie Winery for lunch to sit outside.  We had a great lunch and hung out on their patio.  Mia just loves being outside...wonder where she gets that from:):)
