Fall at the Hannah House....

I LOVE FALL-everything about it:)  Sweaters, apples, candles, fires, cool nights, hot chocolate, pretty leaves...you name, I love it:)  So-I decorated with my fall stuff the other day-and Miss Mia decided to help...

8 months old!!!!

Saturday, September 24, Miss Mia turned 8 months old:) 

Here are some fun facts about Mia this month:

*Weighs about 15 pounds

*Eats fruits, veggies, cereal, some table food, along with her bottles

*is moving EVERYWHERE-she crawls, stands up, pulls up...she will be walking before we know it

*Waves all the time-it is SO cute:)

*Claps a lot-especially about her favorite show-Wheel of Fortune:) (Seriously-she loves that show!)

*Says Mama and Dada

*loves to dance to music

*is still a good sleeper-BUT

*Can stand up in her crib

(We had to lower that bad boy this weekend)

*loves to be outside and where ever mom and dad are

*in case you cannot tell-these photo shoots are getting a LITTLE more difficult:)

Red Bud Homecoming:)

Our nephew, Jordan, had his Senior Homecoming this past weekend.  Unfortunately, his football season is over, as he had to have shoulder surgery, but we traveled to Red Bud to support the Musketeers and cheer them on to a BIG victory over the Freeburg Midgets (I know-who named their team the Midgets:) 

We also got to play with Shane's friend Ryan and his little guy Keegan-who had a great time with Mia.  Keegan is going to be a great big brother in November:)

An amazing lady...

On September 15, my Grandma Muriel passed away.  She was an amazing woman whose family was the most important thing in the world to her.  We were lucky, as we had just been up north to see her a few weeks before this.  While we were there, she gave Mia a stuffed Mickey Mouse that she had been saving aside for her, which we will treasure forever.  (For those of you that do not know, my dad was a huge Mickey Mouse collector, which is why Grandma wanted Mia to have Mickey.)  We will miss Grandma Muriel so much, but the ONLY good thing about saying good-bye to loved ones is getting to see a lot of family that one does not often get to see-including my sister, Tiffany, who had only met Mia one time.  We took a lot of pictures-as Grandma Muriel loved to do-and shared a lot of great stories.

Go Red Bud!

Friday night we traveled to Red Bud to watch them play the Carlyle Indians.  Our nephew, Jordan, is hurt-so he didn't get to play, but Red Bud played great and got their first win of the season!  We are hoping Jordan is able to play again next week. 



A visit from Grandma Hannah

Grandma Hannah came over to play with Mia this week.  Mia and Grandma had a lot of fun:)  Grandma even got to feed Mia her bedtime snack!



The Budweiser Clydesdales

On Labor Day Monday, we went to Forest Park to enjoy the weather, when we found a pretty cool suprise.  There was a festival going on-and the Budweiser Clydesdales were making an appearance.  We watched the hitch get set up and the horses get hooked up.  Those horses travel in style:)
