The weekend before Mia's 1st birthday, we decided to take her on a college tour:) On Saturday, SIUE, mommy and Aunt Tobi's college were playing their first ever ESPN televised game, so we thought it would be a lot of fun! We LOVE basketball-and it was a great time:) Cousin Jordan even came to join us! SIUE was able to at least hang in there against a nationally ranked team and SIUE got a taste of where they hope to be some day.
Then, Aunt Tobi was offered some tickets to the Illinois-Wisconsin game on Sunday. We are HUGE Illinois fans at our house:) I have been to a lot of football games, but never a basketball game and neither had Shane or Tobi, so we decided to head to Champaign for the game. We had a great time checking out Assembly Hall and cheering on the orange and blue. Unfortunately, they could not pull out a win-but we had so much fun-and Miss Mia even says GO ILLINI-even back at home when she waves her orange towel we got at the game-Grandpa Terry would be so proud:):)
